  1. Dear Professor Yuka

I am a linguistics consultant living and working in the north of Togo in collaboration with SIL and SMA. I was a member of WALS for several years, and I suppose that my membership must have expired. I would like to renew it and can arrange an Ecobank transfer. Please can you let me know how much it is in CFA? Please can you also send me the dates for the 2017 Winneba conference, including the submission date for abstracts.

    Yours Sincerely

    Dr David Roberts

      Hello DrDavid Roberts,
I am very sorry I couldn’t reply your mail simply because I had no access to the request. Our website had some registration issuers but thank God all these have now been rectified. I must therefore seriously apologise for keeping you waiting for such a very long time. The annual Membership Dues is now $20 and you can pay this into WALS Dollar Account Number: 0283005704. The Name of the Account is West African Linguistics Society. I will be alerted once you make payments. Kindly also preserve your Bank teller as evidence of the payment.

I hope you are aware that the 2017 WALC has been scheduled for Winneba, Ghana from July 31st to August 5th. Let me know if you need any further information.

      Best wishes.

      Constantine
